Anuswaram #5

We sometimes receive small lots of coffee that really captivate us with their complexity or innovative processing. We feel that Anuswaram is a fitting name for featuring these intriguing coffees.

 For the 5th in this series we are featuring a very special lot from our O.G farm partner, Mooleh Manay estate.

 The folks at Mooleh Manay have been experimenting with custom yeast cultures for a couple of years now and this arabica natural is another one of their experiments. They are keeping the cards close to their chest for this particular lot, all we know is that a yeast culture was used in two stages.

 The result of this top secret fermentation protocol is breath-taking! The cup is distinctly floral ; with marigold notes dominating . There's also oodles of  peach like fruitiness and raisin-y sweetness too! Rounding this fruity and floral symphony is a nutty aftertaste that we quite like. Anuswaram #5 is a  delight across all manual brews 4 days post date of roast. It also makes for a fruit n nut tasting espresso, 14 days post date of roast.
