Our favourite coffee from Joldal Palya is back for a fourth year! The good folks at Unakki estate have upped their processsing game even more this year, so much so that we have decided to buy their pulp sundired arabica in place of the washed.

 For this lot, ripe cherries of mainly Chandragiri varietal were first floated in a syphon. The cherries that sank were then put in a sealed airtight bag for 24 hours and then pulped without water. The coffee was then dried on raised beds for 10 days.

 The result of this careful processing is a banger of a cup that brims with a lot of sweetness and acidity that we can best describe as candied sweetlime and finishes with an almond like nuttiness. It reminds us of all the flavours of last year's iteration of Bahār but with the flavours amped up to 11!

 Bahār the coffee is a delight across all manual brews 7 days from date of roast and makes for a pulpy , textured and sweet limey shot of espresso 14 days from date of roast!
