This red honey arabica is very sweet coconut-like and fruity !

Sourced from Venkids valley estate in Coorg, this lot of arabica has been processed as a red honey, i.e. the coffee has been pulped and slow dried along with the mucilage on raised beds. The folks at Venkids Valley have also made a few tweaks to the processing to amp up sweetness this year!

The resulting cup splits the difference between crisp washed flavours and fruity naturals rather artfully and  the tweaks done to the processing this year add a distinct coconut water like sweetness that we can't get enough of!

Kēdāram  the coffee is the new daily driver at kāpikottai HQ , given our penchant for ultra sweet coffees. It is a delight across all manual brews 5 days post date of roast and is all milk chocolatey when brewed as espresso 15 days post date of roast!

Great coffee!

Coffee tasts great! Must buy for sure. The new packaging is great as well. Only suggestion I have is that there's too much chaff, it would be nice to have be removed as much as possible.

After a year of dark roasts with chocolate/toffee notes, Kedaram was like a breath of fresh air - not too cloying, still sweet and light, it is a great all-day pick me up.
